I love the way little ones tuck up for sleep.

Its good to know you can count on your sibling to lend a helping hand!

You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

These two beauties are surely fun to be with.

Silly pictures

The kids like taking goofy pictures with photo booth - I figure these are good for a laugh. I had fun doing it one day with great grandma, and it made her chuckle too (mostly in disgust).

Learning

learning to read takes years, but what a joy when you can finally read a chapter book! Way to go, Brett!

Reading in forts is the best!

Sophia doesn't want to be left out at learning time. Here she is learning to type. She also like to do math and reading on the computer. Her favourite site is "starfall".
Lily loves to write!  She has sooo many stories and infinite more waiting to be written.

Gabriella is a beautiful pianist! I love that she fills our home with music!

Computer junkies!

Gabriella's business

Gabriella has started her jewelry business (bcharmed). All the girls in the Parker home are looking sharp in our new mix and match charms! Talking with people, writing up orders, figuring out taxes and dealing with the supplier are all a part of the business. She has paid off the price of the kit and has earned $40.00 thus far! Her goal is $700.00 to go to "Club Dust" in Mexico to help build houses. Good luck Gaby!

Quebec honeymoon

My sweetheart took me to Quebec in the Fall. We had a wonderful time walking through the old town and pretending we were in Europe (it wasn't hard).  The narrow stone streets and beautiful old architecture is just the sort of thing that I love! We thoroughly enjoyed trying our French out with a woman we met at a restaurant one night. Luckily she spoke some English and found our broken French amusing enough to humor us.  We loved the few days we had together!

cardston parade

Every summer we find a spot along the side of the road to watch a good old fashioned parade. The kind with candy, floats, horses, old cars and marching bands. At the close of the parade, my kids inevitably say to me, "why aren't we in the parade?".  To which I pretend I don't hear them or I defer them to their dad.  This year, Grandma decided to get us in the parade! At first it was just the girls, but Brett would have none of that - He got Dad on board to help him rig his bike into a viking ship! Mom's cunning plan worked! I did nothing, and enjoyed collecting candy at the side of the road.
