Quebec honeymoon

My sweetheart took me to Quebec in the Fall. We had a wonderful time walking through the old town and pretending we were in Europe (it wasn't hard).  The narrow stone streets and beautiful old architecture is just the sort of thing that I love! We thoroughly enjoyed trying our French out with a woman we met at a restaurant one night. Luckily she spoke some English and found our broken French amusing enough to humor us.  We loved the few days we had together!

Nay Nay Nay witch!

cardston parade

Every summer we find a spot along the side of the road to watch a good old fashioned parade. The kind with candy, floats, horses, old cars and marching bands. At the close of the parade, my kids inevitably say to me, "why aren't we in the parade?".  To which I pretend I don't hear them or I defer them to their dad.  This year, Grandma decided to get us in the parade! At first it was just the girls, but Brett would have none of that - He got Dad on board to help him rig his bike into a viking ship! Mom's cunning plan worked! I did nothing, and enjoyed collecting candy at the side of the road.

Water fun

We had such a great summer on the lakes, creeks and reservoir. Grandma Elaine bought lots of fun water toys that kept us wet and happy.

California Vacation - Milpitas, San diego, Salt Lake

David and Thao took us out for a Chinese treat!

Works for me.

I'm not so sure!

The first of many, many amusement rides!

We are on our way to DISNEYLAND!

After a full day at Disney - somebody's too pooped to party!

Can you guess whose are whose?

The Matterhorn

So much driving!

We like to give Sophia a little tumble dry before we go out.

This is what I was waiting for!

Grandma and Grandpa Parker were good sports!

Check out the teeth.

One of the favourite rides at legoland.

She was passing people and zipping right along!

I LOVE WATER!!

Always friends.

Dad got excited about this one.

I'm too pooped to party again!

It was colder than we expected, but these three loved it!

Our warm resort pool. ahh.

We love the beach!

Water and mud - I am in Heaven!

We could do this every winter.

Back at the resort - hangin with grandma.

These two can tango!

Little crocodile (or alligator)

So relaxing by the pool!

It was cold this day, but Lily couldn't resist the water!

Definitely our favourite day! Laguna Beach.

Take me back!

Beautiful San Diego temple.

We were closely following the Stanley Cup playoffs - hoping for a canuck win.

At temple square. I'm not sure why Brett didn't want to be seen with us?

Dad and Gabs love the temple.

This was beautiful to imagine the savior encircling our little ones.
