Let me tell you a story of Alexander the Great.  Once a upon a time in Asia Minor, in a city, there was a knot that no one could untie . The legend is that the person who unties this knot will rule all of Asia Minor.  Alexander studied the knot and took out his sword and sliced the knot in half!  "There!" he said.  And sure enough, he conquered all of Asia Minor.

As a family, we get lots of practice with conflict, however, we don't always take the opportunity to make restitution.  This time was different... Brett decided to write a letter to his sister after they had been fighting.  I think this is a great example of one way to try to repair relationships.  It takes humility and love to say you are sorry and really mean it. He spent many hours collecting his thoughts, gathering a relevant scripture verse and adding a little peace offering (a piece of gum).
